This is the restaurant (http://www.elite.fi/en/restaurant/) where I took my wife for our first date – it is traditional, rather formal with white linen tablecloths and lots of art on the walls, really great service and excellent food and drink.
It is one of Helsinki’s oldest and best known for being a great favorite with artists, actors and politicians. This is one of the places to be seen but also a really good place for tasty food prepared in a classy manner.
