From GoodNews from Finland:
Hello again from Helsinki!
Well, the deep freeze has set here, with temperatures dropping to more than 30 degrees below in some parts of the country. Brrrr!
But – you guessed it – the good news train keep on rollin’ whatever the conditions are outside!
We’ve got some huuuuge news to share: Finland has taken the top spot in the Good Country Index, which measures countries’ overall impact on the planet and humanity! All Finnish humility aside, we are feeling pretty stoked here up north.
Also making us feel proud, seven Finnish companies have been included on this year’s Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World list. W.O.W.!
Making sure we remain gobsmacked, the European Investment Bank (EIB) has granted a 20 million-euro loan to Nightingale Health. Kaa-ching!!
Elsewhere, CupOfTherapy is making waves in North America, Playvation’s Moomin Language School is teaching ankle biters in Poland and Eagle Filters is making a splash Down Under.
Over at our weekly Finland Works series, Olga from Ukraine has some interesting things to say about living and working in Finland.
