I have been so many times to Japan on business and on holiday, and there is always one thing that you can rely on – the food will always be well prepared, fresh and delicious even when the restaurant or café is tiny or large.
Helsinki now officially has a real tiny restaurant stall at Hietalahti Market with its own Japanese lady chef, Ms. Haruka Kawasaki.
She has brought her cooking skills to Helsinki with delicious meals like today’s lunch of Ginger Fried Chicken with rice noodles or Shrimp Rice Burger.
The dishes are tasty, generous and so Japanese!
Even though they occupy a tiny space, this is where they are starting out with the kind of high quality and originality that everybody in Japan expects and receives.
For me this is a dream to have an authentic Japanese restaurant right near to where I live.
